GREENLIGHT: Generating Renewable Energy Education Network Leading Initiatives for Green & Harmonious Tomorrows

GREENLIGHT Platform Pilot Studies Completed in North Macedonia

The digital educational games and interactive learning contents developed within the project were tested during a pilot implementation held at DSU – RCSOO Nikola Karev between 11–20 May 2025. The study evaluated their impact on user satisfaction, learning outcomes, and digital skills.

The digital educational games developed within the GREENLIGHT project demonstrated high success during the pilot implementation involving high school and VET students as well as teachers. The majority of participants found the games both enjoyable and educational, with approximately 84% reporting high and very high levels of satisfaction. Significant improvements were observed particularly in learning outcomes, digital skills, and environmental awareness. Students stated that they better understood sustainability and energy-related topics and that the learning process became more memorable.

The pilot implementation also provided valuable feedback for further development of the games. Participants suggested clearer instructions, gradual difficulty levels, and improved interface design. Accordingly, new levels were added to the games and enhancements were implemented to improve user experience. Detailed analysis results and the comprehensive effectiveness report can be accessed via GREENLIGHT Project WP3 Outputs.
