Renewable Energy Webinar

As part of Erasmus Days, an international webinar event was successfully organized within the scope of the GREENLIGHT Project, bringing together students and educators from partner countries. The event aimed to promote awareness of renewable energy and sustainability while fostering intercultural exchange among participants.

Students from Şehit Mehmet Çetin Anatolian Imam Hatip High School (Türkiye) and Agrupamento de Escolas Alberto Sampaio (AESAS) (Portugal) actively participated in the webinar. During the event, innovative renewable energy projects implemented in different countries were presented, providing participants with a broader perspective on global sustainability efforts and green energy solutions.

AESAS students made a valuable contribution by delivering an engaging presentation on various renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, and hydropower. Their presentation highlighted the importance of transitioning to sustainable energy systems and emphasized the role of young people in shaping a greener future.

The webinar also served as an interactive learning environment where students had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss environmental challenges, and explore practical solutions within the framework of the GREENLIGHT Project’s objectives, which focus on enhancing energy literacy and supporting sustainable development goals.

At the end of the event, participants took part in a fun and educational Kahoot quiz competition on renewable energy topics. This interactive activity not only reinforced the knowledge gained during the webinar but also created an enjoyable and motivating atmosphere for all students involved.
