GREENLIGHT: Generating Renewable Energy Education Network - Leading Initiatives for Green & Harmonious Tomorrows project has been funded with the support from the European Commission, with the reference number 2023-2-TR01-KA220-SCH-000180691. The goal of "Energy Literacy in the Context of Climate Change" is supported by an interdisciplinary educational program designed for students aged 15-17.
Project Overview
As we face the urgent need for safe and sustainable energy in the 21st century, we present the project "Energy Literacy in the Context of Climate Change" for students aged 15-17. This initiative aims to strengthen their understanding of the crucial link between energy and climate, empowering them to adopt clean energy solutions through a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on experiences.
Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 7, the project raises global awareness of climate change among youth. Students will participate in field trips and explore STEM disciplines, enhancing their understanding and promoting energy conservation. Under the Erasmus+ program, we foster intercultural relations and environmental learning through creative content, animations, and interactive games, making energy literacy a key aspect of their lives as they move toward a sustainable energy future.
